Alphast Co., Ltd., a dedicated IFS Cloud ERP partner specializing in the manufacturing industry, has signed a partnership agreement with CADTALK, a provider of integration solutions connecting CAD, PDM, and PLM data with ERP systems.
Through this partnership, Alphast will offer CADTALK’s integration solutions primarily in Japan and Thailand. By combining Alphast’s IFS Cloud implementation and consulting expertise with CADTALK’s integration technology, the two companies will help manufacturers streamline data integration between engineering and manufacturing processes, including the flow of CAD, PDM, and PLM data into IFS Cloud and eBOM-to-mBOM integration.
This partnership will help reduce the complexity of CAD, PDM, and PLM–ERP integration and accelerate solution delivery.
Background of the Partnership
In manufacturing, engineering teams typically manage product and design information—including CAD data, product structures, and the eBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials)—in CAD, PDM, and PLM systems, while manufacturing and supply chain teams manage the mBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) and operational data in ERP systems.
Differences in data structures and business processes often make the integration of CAD, PDM, and PLM systems with ERP dependent on custom development, increasing implementation time, cost, and long-term maintenance efforts.
CADTALK provides a purpose-built integration solution that streamlines data connectivity between CAD, PDM, PLM, and ERP systems. Through this partnership, Alphast will incorporate CADTALK into its IFS Cloud solutions, enabling customers to establish these integrations more efficiently and with less reliance on custom development.
Combining the Strengths of Alphast and CADTALK
Alphast is a dedicated IFS Cloud partner specializing in the manufacturing industry, with operations in Japan and Thailand and experience supporting global, multi-site ERP environments. Alphast provides end-to-end IFS services, from consulting and implementation to system development, operation, and maintenance.
CADTALK provides integration technology that connects major CAD, PDM, PLM, and ERP systems and automates the flow of engineering and product data.
By combining these strengths, CADTALK will leverage Alphast’s manufacturing expertise, IFS Cloud capabilities, and presence in Japan and Thailand to expand its market reach in the Asia-Pacific region.
For Alphast, integrating CADTALK into its solution portfolio will enable more efficient CAD, PDM, and PLM–IFS Cloud integration while reducing the development effort and time required to deliver solutions for customers.
Comments from the Partner Companies
“Expanding into APAC has been a strategic priority for us, and finding the right partner to represent CADTALK in the region was critical. Alphast brings exactly the kind of deep, on-the-ground IFS expertise and customer-first culture that we look for in a partner. Together, we’re giving manufacturers in Japan, Thailand, and across the region access to a proven integration that eliminates one of the most frustrating bottlenecks in their operations, and we couldn’t be more excited about what we’ll build together,” said Jeff Brickler, Chief Operations Officer at CADTALK.
“At Alphast, our mission is to help manufacturers build the digital foundation they need to compete globally. CADTALK’s technology addresses an important gap between engineering and ERP by connecting CAD, PDM, and PLM data directly with IFS Cloud. We believe this partnership will enable manufacturers in Japan, Thailand, and across APAC to simplify their operations, improve data quality, and accelerate digital transformation. We are excited to work with CADTALK to deliver greater value to our customers and support their global growth,” said Kentaro Iwahori, President & CEO at Alphast Inc.
Value for Manufacturers
The partnership enables manufacturers to establish an integration architecture such as:

CADTALK can help reduce the need for extensive custom integration when connecting major engineering and PLM platforms, such as PTC Windchill and Siemens Teamcenter, with IFS Cloud, while supporting the integration of engineering and product data, including eBOM-to-mBOM.
Beyond simply building interfaces, CADTALK provides a standardized approach to CAD, PDM, and PLM–ERP integration, helping connect Engineering, Manufacturing, and Enterprise operations while reducing implementation and maintenance complexity.
Supporting Global Manufacturing Transformation
As manufacturers increasingly adopt IFS Cloud for global and multi-site operations, integration with CAD, PDM, PLM, and other surrounding systems has become an important consideration in ERP transformation projects.
Through this partnership, Alphast and CADTALK will work together to:
• Streamline CAD, PDM, and PLM–IFS Cloud integration
• Reduce reliance on custom integration development
• Shorten solution delivery timelines
• Improve the flow and consistency of engineering and manufacturing data
• Support global ERP transformation for manufacturers
The two companies aim to deliver greater value to manufacturers in Japan, Thailand, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
